The author Lena Christ described in her book “Erinnerungen einer Überflüssigen” that the “Radlermaß” enjoyed great popularity especially among excursionists as early as around 1900. Finely hopped

The fine Tettnanger traditional hop grows at the gates of the Bellheimer brewery. It is cultivated seasonally by our brewers themselves. We use these hops exclusively for the production of our very special limited beer. Seasonally and strictly limited brewed - a pleasure, according to Palatinate joie de vivre.

Strong & Dark

Really great - the Bellheimer goats. But they are not the namesake for our bock beer. According to legend, the name goes back to an old brewing ritual: after tapping the barrel, the apprentices sat down on a wooden block soaked in beer - only if they stuck to it when they got up again the beer was strong enough.
